British Airways rewards premium passengers

Time:2014-04-08
British Airways today announced it will provide its Club World (business class) customers with a complimentary one-way upgrade to First on their outbound or inbound flight from China to the UK or Europe.

“We appreciate the loyalty of our Club World customers and want to say thank you by treating them to the exclusive and luxurious experience of First class,” said Tracy Dedman, British Airways regional general manager, Greater China and the Philippines. “Our First customers will enjoy the five-star hotel-style dining and service from check-in through to their final destination.”

The return fares in Club World to the UK or Europe start from CNY 30,480 from Chengdu, CNY 32,530 from Shanghai and CNY 35,680 from Beijing.

The upgrade offer is available for booking from now until May 7, 2014, and is valid for outbound travel from Chengdu before May 4, 2014, and from Beijing or Shanghai before August 31, 2014. The upgrade is immediately confirmed once customers have made their bookings.

Each individual suite in the renowned First cabin features a bed that is 60 per cent wider, a personal wardrobe, a 15” in-flight entertainment screen and the new First amenity kit developed by Aromatherapy Associates. Within the cabin, the lighting and electronic blinds can be modified according to the traveller’s needs and the time of day.

All premium passengers arriving at British Airways’ home at London Heathrow, Terminal 5, can enjoy the facilities at the Arrivals lounge, which includes showers and breakfast, complimentary Elemis spa treatments and bubbling champagne at the exclusive Galleries Club lounges.

“This will be the ultimate luxury flying experience one should not miss,” said Dedman.

The upgrade offers are limited and customers are urged to book early by contacting British Airways on 400 881 0207 or speaking to their travel agents.
